The flood that swallowed Dr. Fessenden's lab drowned half the east coast. Marshal Sable seized the Crown dam, the only thing holding back the sea, and now every tap runs on his permit.
01
Labour for the Crown
Ration breakers are sedated, sealed in pods and shipped to the dam. Their crime: drawing water without a permit.
02
“Order keeps the water flowing.”
Every ration notice carries Sable's brass gate seal. His supply chain runs the length of the coast, and a boss guards every link.
03
Break the chain
Barge, convoy, hatchery, salvage pit, signal dish, dam. At the top, Sable would rather become the gate than open it. Meet Crownback.
Six chapters · six bosses · five second forms
Up the coast to the Crown dam
Every chapter is three areas, a mission and a boss fight, built from the original arcade's tiles. Each one plays in four to five minutes.
01 Wassoon
The Prison Barge
Free the prisoners
Warden Rook
The jailer of the barge lowers his hook before he pulls. Change lanes when it drops.
02 The Coral Causeway
The Tide Convoy
Seize the Crown cargo
Haulmaster Krag→Ironclub
One trial dose and the convoy boss is an armoured club-tail that curls into a rolling ball.
03 The Verdant Biodome
The Nest
Silence the nursery
Headkeeper Thorne→Glassback
While her sonic driver hums she can't be brought down. Smash it, and free the pack.
04 The Sink
The Pump Station
Flood the dig
Foreman Cinder→Overdrive Cinder
Back where the first game ended. Watch his gauge: red means a steam shot down your lane.
05 The Observatory
Dr. Echo
Jam the command signal
Dr. Echo→Echo Engine
Fessenden's old tank keeper climbs into a four-legged brass sound-walker. Change lanes when the dishes glow.
06 The Crown Dam
The Crown Tide
Break the collars, open the spillway
Marshal Sable→Crownback
“No gate will hold for me? Then I will be the gate.”

Questions
Before you insert a coin
Is it really free?
Yes. No ads, no account and nothing to buy. It's a fan project.
Is this an official Capcom game?
No. It's an unofficial, non-commercial fan sequel, not affiliated with or endorsed by Capcom. The original game, its characters and its art belong to their owners.
Do I need to have played the 1993 game?
No. The story starts six months after the original ending, and the title screen's attract story and the chapter cards catch you up.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. On a touch screen the game shows a thumb stick and action buttons. Landscape gives you the biggest screen.
How does online co-op work?
One player hosts and gets a code like DINO-4KQ7; up to two friends join with the code or the link. The host's game runs the action and the others stream their inputs to it. Everyone needs a current Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari.
Will my progress save?
Your last checkpoint and your settings are saved in this browser. Choose Continue on the title screen to pick up where you left off.
Can I use a controller?
Yes. Any standard gamepad works in single player and online.
